This is a prelude to the upcoming Final Crisis mini-series and features the big villain of that storyline, Libra. The second half of this issue is good and art by Carlos Pacheco makes me hope that he is on this book permanently…but he’s probably not. Grade: B

Marvel Comics: The Incredible Hercules #117

I’m still loving this book (this used to be Hulk’s book before Hercules sort of hi-jacked it) with it’s beautiful art, action and somewhat tongue-in-cheek storytelling. This issue has the goddess Athena getting a group of gods from various religions together to be led by Hercules to fight the gods of the shapeshifting alien invaders, the Skrulls. Here comes….THE GOD SQUAD! Oh yeah, I’m lovin’ it!! Grade: A

IDW Publishing: Tank Girl: Visions of Booga #1

If you have never read a Tank Girl comic before you might be lost…or you actually might not since this character has always been written and drawn with a punk rock sensability. Love it or hate it, this is some well done Tank Girl goodness here. But I am warning you. This is not for everybody so make sure you browse before purchasing! Grade: B
