Dark Horse Comics: Serenity - Better Days #1 ( of 3 )
Even after years have passed, I still feel that it is a travesty that Joss Whedon’s excellent “cowboys in space” show, Firefly, was treated so badly by the Fox network when it originally aired, which lead to it’s cancellation. Oh, what could have been. […]

TV You Should See: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Okay, most of the time when a movie concept is turned into a TV show, it sucks. But from what I’ve seen and read about this one I think it might actually kick some ass.

Fantasy F#ck Friday: Nathan Fillion
Nathan Fillion (born March 27, 1971) is best known as badass Captain Malcolm Reynolds from the TV show Firefly and the film based on the show, Serenity. The man is a great actor but also seems to be an all around great guy–the kind of dude you’d want to have a beer with.

Totally scare the shit out of your neighbors and then take their candy! Bwahahahaha!
Wow! Just freakin' awesome and if you are not onboard with all things Green Lantern related then you are missing out. Geoff Johns writes one heck of a tale here that formally introduces us to the Red Lantern Corps, rage powered individuals who are sure to give the Green Lantern Corps one hell of a time. Shane Davis pencils this issue and the guy is unbelievable. There's a splash page in this issue that rivals what Ivan Reis is doing in the main ongoing GL book. Buy this one! Grade: A+
So far I haven't cared much for this series. This is DC's big event book for 2008 and the big completion to their "Crisis Trilogy" started with Crisis on Infinite Earths in 1986 and continued with Infinite Crisis in 2006. This one has been a little hard to follow and frankly, a bit boring, but thankfully this issue kicks it up several notches.
Conflicted hitmen and a coked-up racist dwarf equals dark fun!
