I swear to god this is like the Superman Returns of Bond films.  I think caboose said it best yesterday when we left the theatre;

"chase, fight, kill, repeat, chase, fight, kill, repeat, chase, fight…."

Recently I’ve been completely engrossed in reading Batman RIP and all things Batman related.  I saw this pic up over at Iheartchaos.com this morning and let’s face it people this depiction is exactly how this election is shaping up.

So I meant to put this up last week but hey what are you going to do? 

Anyway’s, tomorrow we get Max Payne, another movie based on a video game.  I really wish Holly-weird would let this go.  How many more times must we be subjected to a quick, poorly made cash in to a game that was decent but not necessarily all that great to begin with?  The only saving grace I hope we have this time is that the film stars Mark Wahlberg in the lead role, and since most of the flicks I’ve watched with him in it, at least they were entertaining.

I’ll quit rambling now.

Max Payne

The worst thing from Vin Diesel since….insert joke here.

I saw this and thought, "if this isn’t a glowing recommendation for who to vote for, I don’t know what is".

"From my heart and from my hand why don’t people understand my intentions?"

That simply must be what the executives out in Hollyweird are thinking whenever the idea to remake an 80’s movie/concept enters their conscientiousness.  We’ve been down this road before people.  I simply don’t know what else to say to you guys other than maybe "STOP GOING TO SEE THESE HORRIBLE CREATIONS".  If we stick together everyone then maybe, just maybe these ridiculous ideas to go and rehash everything that was good about the 80’s will finally come to an end.

Yeah I know…I won’t hold my breath.

5 Upcoming Remakes of 80s Movies (That Must be Stopped)

Since let’s face it the only thing on most people’s mind in the last few days has been every and anything political, not to mention the VP Debate happens tonight, figured that today’s trailer should have something to do with that.

I had heard about this flick a little while ago and now after see the trailer I am so psyched to see some Guy Ritchie goodness.

So for those of you that don’t know who Guy Ritchie is (I swear why do we always go through this?) then go here.

Now for a quick premise of this flick;

When a Russian mobster sets up a real estate scam that generates millions of pounds, various members of London’s criminal underworld pursue their share of the fortune. Various shady characters, including Mr One-Two, Stella the accountant, and Johnny Quid, a druggie rock-star, try to claim their slice…

Now I have watched several of Guy’s films.  I’ve seen Lock Stock, Snatch, and Revolver.  Luckily I have not seen Swept Away.  Of the three that I have seen Snatch and Lock Stock are definitely my favs, and I’m hoping that RockNRolla can be added to my stable of films that I just can not get enough of.

ROCKNROLLA

OK first things first, Baby Mama is out on DVD now so go check it out if you didn’t see it in the theatres earlier this year.  Second, my little geek crush Tina Fey and her friend Amy Poehler were at it again this past weekend on Saturday Night Live.

In the video you will see Tina and Amy poking fun at the two top women this year in politics – Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin.  The sad thing about this video is how much Tina really looks and sounds like Sarah Palin. 

It’s creepy I tell  you.  Sexy but creepy none the less.

Let’s see…Insert one part vintage MJ.  One part Timberland and Co.  Add the Kings of Orange.  And spin.
