Vertigo Comics: Northlanders #8

This is one of the best Vertigo books to come out in years and this issue wraps up the storyline of the Viking, Sven, and his return to his homeland to reclaim his kingdom.

Saw this yesterday and meant to put it up. I don’t know about this movie, but my gut instinct tells me that Robert and Rose are going to accomplish something that I didn’t think was possible - make me long for Brigitte Nielsen. Hit the button for the other poster.

So while I realize that everybody and their mom is still talking about the awesomeness that is The Dark Knight right now, but just to remind folks that there is one other character out there that is can give Gotham’s favorite son a run for his money.

Vertigo Comics: The Exterminators #30

Writer Simon Oliver and artist Tony Moore end this fantastic, creepy and funny series and I will miss it. The characters were so well done, especially Stretch, and the storyline was unique and always held my interest. This issue wraps the story of the battle between the the Bug-Bee-Gone gang and the Mayan insect god Khepron with in-your-face action and gore. It’s f#cking great!!! Farewell Exterminators! Grade: A+

Me again, long time no hear from I know but I have had my hands full with other things you know?
Watchmen, the eagerly anticipated film by director Zack Snyder (Dawn of the Dead, 300) based on the acclaimed comic by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, is due in theaters on March 6, 2009. But there is a lot of controversy surrounding the film.
Writer Mark Millar and artist John Romita, Jr. just keep the "kick-assery" coming with the fourth issue of this highly entertaining and gloriously violent book.
Captain America #41
Still one of the best Marvel books for your money!
Dude, this f#ckin' rocked! What the prequels should have been.
Okay, I currently have a house full of nieces, a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law so this will be short ...
I'm loving this freakin' series and I've never been a big Iron Man fan but writer Matt Fraction and artist Salvador Larocca are delivering the goods. The character is currently dealing with Zachariah Stane, evil son of his rival Obadiah Stane (Iron Monger), who is using Stark tech for terrorist attacks across the world. What makes this series and particularly this issue work is the writer is making Stark into a likable (albeit cocky) character once again. I dig! Grade: A
