Hellboy 2: The Golden Army is coming July 11!

This sweet poster by artist Drew Struzan was done for the New York Comic Con to promote Hellboy II: The Golden Army, which will be in theaters on July 11. A lot of people in the “fanboy” community have already seen the flick in it’s unpolished form and still say that it’s fantastic and a big improvement on the the very good first film. I’ve been looking forward to this one even more than Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk and The Dark Knight and hopefully it will haul in the dough so we’ll see a third. Never read the Hellboy comics? Do yourself a favor and do so….it’s one of the most unique and groundbreaking comics out there!

So I’ve been meaning to put this up for a while now but I haven’t had the time *(insert excuse)*, but it’s up here now so let’s not bicker about it.

I bet it tastes like ham.
Me again, long time no hear from I know but I have had my hands full with other things you know?
Watchmen, the eagerly anticipated film by director Zack Snyder (Dawn of the Dead, 300) based on the acclaimed comic by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, is due in theaters on March 6, 2009. But there is a lot of controversy surrounding the film.
Writer Mark Millar and artist John Romita, Jr. just keep the "kick-assery" coming with the fourth issue of this highly entertaining and gloriously violent book.
Captain America #41
Still one of the best Marvel books for your money!
Dude, this f#ckin' rocked! What the prequels should have been.
Okay, I currently have a house full of nieces, a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law so this will be short ...
I'm loving this freakin' series and I've never been a big Iron Man fan but writer Matt Fraction and artist Salvador Larocca are delivering the goods. The character is currently dealing with Zachariah Stane, evil son of his rival Obadiah Stane (Iron Monger), who is using Stark tech for terrorist attacks across the world. What makes this series and particularly this issue work is the writer is making Stark into a likable (albeit cocky) character once again. I dig! Grade: A
