For WW today, we've gone back to 1997, I had been out of High School for a year, decided to move Raleigh, and this damn song was everywhere on the radio.
Well it's a new year (can you believe it, we're almost a year old) and time for a WW. Let's see who it's going to be today.
Well it's Thursday people and you know what that means. It's time for nanye to put up the WW that he should have put up yesterday.
Now I know what you're thinking, why is today's WW by a band that's still selling multi-platinum records? Well the truth is I don't really have a problem with Nickelback per say, but the same can't be said about my cohort.
Back in 2000, or Y2K as we were told to call it, today's WW was making the rounds on the airways helping to make the band's debut album - Now You see Inside - go certified gold.
Well it's been a week since ATE moved it's headquaters, the unpacking is still going on and I've been a little slack about putting up new content, so let's see if we can get things started back by picking out a WW.
This Wednesday marks a special occasion here at the ol’ homestead, as this marks the day that ATE headquaters is moving to a bigger and better office. (and by office I mean that my wife and I just bought a new house and we move in today.) Since that means that me and the rest of the crew will be busy moving boxes and what not, I’m handing over today’s WW duties to the real brains of this outfit - blueyeddanger.
See here’s the thing, when Wednesday’s roll around it means two things at the East household:
take out the garbage for pick up before off to work
come up with a Wayback Wednesday
So today while I was in the the shower preparing to go to real work
(damn you real work always getting in the way of my fantasy work),
I started humming today’s song and thus my WW creative process was complete.
Back when I was a sophomore in high school, there was this little skater boy named Israel who I was totally enamored with. He was a phenomenal artist who actually went on to do work on Hellraiser 3.
Mentos, the fresh maker. I mean really what else do I need to say about today's WW?
